Forest National Park is home to the latest group of Mountain
Gorilla's to be habituated by the Uganda Wildlife Authority.
Known as the Nkuringo group tracking permits are now available
to individuals and tour operators for those wishing to experience
one of the worlds most amazing wildlife spectacles.

Getting there and away
For those travelling by public means Nkuringo
is accessed from the Kabale - Kisoro road. Take the public bus
from Kampala to Kisoro a 500KM journey, aprroximately 11 hours.
On arrival in Kisoro you will need to arrange a private hire
vehicle to take you to Nkuringo some 36 kms from Kisoro US$35-.
Cheetah Safaris the campsite operator are
able to provide transfers to and from Nkuringo in a 4wd vehicle
for US$100= per day plus fuel.
